About the Role
As a Specialist (B) – Pricing & Assistant Sales
Services, you’ll play a key role in shaping how Kuwait Airways prices its
routes in different markets.
Your work will support management decisions by providing accurate
market data, pricing analysis, and clear recommendations—especially in
competitive and fast-changing market conditions.
This role sits at the intersection of pricing, marketing,
and sales performance, making it both analytical and commercially
impactful.
What You’ll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)
In this role, you will:
- Collect,
analyze, and interpret market data related to route pricing and
competition
- Prepare
market surveys, compile survey data, and present findings clearly
- Develop
reports, statistics, charts, graphs, and tables to support pricing
decisions
- Design
and review survey questionnaires, ensuring they cover key areas
such as:
- Pricing
levels
- Promotional
schemes
- Competitive
activity
- Coordinate
and organize market surveys, including scheduling interviews with:
- Travel
agents
- Government
officials
- Kuwait
Airways outstation managers
- Other
relevant market contacts
- Evaluate
survey results using averages, ratios, and trend analysis
- Assist
your supervisor in identifying:
- Market
trends
- Pricing
gaps
- Problem
areas or irregularities
- Use
computer systems and software tools to maintain data and prepare reports
- Support
evaluation of pricing policies, including:
- Discount
structures
- Special
group fares
- Market-specific
pricing strategies
- Coordinate
closely with Sales and Route Performance teams to ensure pricing
aligns with market realities
Your insights will directly influence revenue performance
and competitive positioning.
What We’re Looking For (Requirements)
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor’s
degree in:
- Business
- Marketing
- Statistics
- Or a
related field
- Minimum
6 years of experience in:
- Airline
market research
- Pricing
or commercial analysis
- Strong
command of English (written and spoken)
- High
proficiency in:
- Microsoft
Excel
- PowerPoint
