About the Role – Specialist (B) Commercial Alliances

In this role, you’ll be deeply involved in the development, coordination, and maintenance of commercial alliance agreements, particularly Interline Special Prorate Agreements (SPAs) for passenger services.

Think of yourself as a bridge—connecting Kuwait Airways with partner airlines, finance teams, sales units, and global markets. Your work will directly influence revenue flow, ticketing accuracy, and international cooperation.


What You’ll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)

In your day-to-day work, you will:

  • Coordinate the development, documentation, and maintenance of Interline SPAs
  • Prepare background research, feasibility briefs, and market analyses to support negotiations
  • Participate in the negotiation of new commercial alliance agreements within assigned markets
  • Review, update, and improve existing SPAs to ensure accuracy, value, and compliance
  • Maintain an organized and well-referenced filing system for alliance documentation
  • Provide market and situational reports on outstation activities and targeted destinations
  • Coordinate closely with Finance and Sales teams, offering recommendations on the feasibility of agreement types
  • Assist with interline billing processes and recommend amendments or conclusions of current SPAs
  • Update and amend SPA data in DRS systems, ensuring accurate information for:
    • Ticketing & Reservation staff
    • Travel agents
    • Internal stakeholders

What We’re Looking For (Requirements)

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in:
    • Law
    • Business Administration
    • Economics
    • Or an equivalent discipline
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in:
    • Airline industry marketing, and/or
    • International relations within aviation
  • Strong command of English (written and spoken)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

👤 What We’re Looking For

This role is ideal for someone who:

  • Holds a Diploma / ITI / Certification in:
    • Electronics
    • Computer Hardware
    • Or a related technical field
  • Has 2–4 years of experience as a Printer Technician
  • Is familiar with major printer brands like HP, Canon, and similar
  • Has strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Can work independently and manage service calls confidently
  • Communicates clearly with clients and team members
