Key Responsibilities:
As the CIO, your mission will be to lead IT and digital
strategy across all Alghanim businesses. You will:
- Develop
and maintain the IT and digital strategy, along with a clear roadmap
to support company objectives
- Partner
with business units to understand current challenges, strategic goals,
and process needs
- Propose
IT solutions that help the business achieve its objectives
- Take
IT initiatives from concept to execution while ensuring adoption
across the organization
- Lead change
management, including training and communication for new systems
- Deliver
improved IT performance and implement technology that enhances customer
experience
- Evaluate
technology options and provide cost-effective, long-term
recommendations
- Oversee
procurement, vendor contracts, and service-level agreements
- Manage
IT budgets, including capital and operational expenses
- Review,
audit, and prioritize information management systems
- Lead,
mentor, and develop IT teams, building a strong succession pipeline
and fostering a user-focused culture
- Develop
and implement IT security plans to safeguard the company’s data and
systems during major incidents or disasters
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s
degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred but
not mandatory)
- Proven
success in an information management role in a multi-business firm
- Experience
managing multi-million dollar IT budgets
- Ability
to collaborate with external consultants and IT experts to
implement business solutions
- Strong
track record in building and mentoring IT teams
- Understanding
of data security and compliance requirements
- Exceptional
relationship-building skills with business leaders and key
stakeholders
- Executive
presence and ability to present technical concepts in simple,
understandable terms
- Experience
with multi-business firms in the Middle East is a plus
