Provides daily direction to Aircraft scheduling and Crew scheduling section, and assigning duties to all staff .
Controls the checking of the winter and summer flight schedules submitted by the Marketing & Sales Department, ensuring the clearances for overflying, landing handling slots, etc. are secured throughout the network well in advance of the date of effective operation. Ensures that flight details are correct and not conflicting with any airport or Government restrictions.
Attends schedule committee, Manpower committee or any other committees as assigned, keeping abreast of developments in the Airline Industry, discuss, develop and implement better methods of functioning.

Requirement:

Diploma in Administration Science.
10 years’ related experience.

Job Description:

Assists in planning and developing the monthly crew roster in accordance with flight schedules for the particular fleet, forwarded by the planning section. Prepares rosters in accordance with the Department’s policy to ensure an equitable and fair system of flight allocation, and in accordance with the Corporation’s rules and regulations.
Preparing the charts for cabin / deck crew positions with the flights to be operated each month. Checks records and confirms with Administration Section, the crew required for base or route checks, instrument ratings, simulator training, medical checks and leave requirements, and records dates on the chart. Reviews and develops a master roster, indicating flights, flight number, sectors operated and the names of the crew operating the flight. Rosters stand by requirements for any unforeseen circumstances and to operate government aircraft.
Assists in developing individual flight rosters for each cabin / deck crew member, outlining all the details of the flights to be operated and any standby requirements taking into account the flight time limitations as specified in the operations manual. Makes last minute changes as required by Supervisor due to sudden changes in schedule. Cross checks with master plan and forwards copies to the deck crew / cabin crew and the Operations Control Centre before the end of each month.

Requirement:

Diploma in Administration Science.
