Established in 1953 as a private company, the airline was initially 50 per cent owned by the Kuwaiti government. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and documenting all transportation agreements between KAC- in the capacity of the company as the National Carrier- and the Kuwaiti government sector and other foreign countries.
- You are to create and document all agreements with other airlines, such as joint venture agreements, etc.
- You are to prepare business cases regarding business cases to be reviewed and negotiated by KAC and third parties.
- You are to ensure constant follow-up of trends in the aviation industry and inform your supervisor by creating timely reports.
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Economics or equivalent
- Six (6) years of experience in Marketing and International Relations in the Aviation Industry

🔹 Role Overview
As a Specialist (B) – Government and Commercial
Agreements, you will play a pivotal role in managing strategic
partnerships and government-related agreements. You will create, document,
and maintain agreements between Kuwait Airways, the Kuwaiti government, and
international aviation partners, including joint ventures and commercial
collaborations.
Your work will directly support the airline’s business
expansion, operational compliance, and international collaboration efforts.
🧾 Key Responsibilities
- Draft,
review, and manage all transportation agreements between Kuwait
Airways and the Kuwaiti government or foreign entities.
- Prepare
and document joint venture agreements, partnerships, and commercial
contracts with other airlines.
- Develop
business cases and proposals for review and negotiation by Kuwait
Airways and third parties.
- Monitor
trends in the aviation industry, identifying opportunities and
risks, and prepare timely reports for management.
- Collaborate
with cross-functional teams including legal, finance, operations, and
marketing to ensure agreements align with company policies and
strategic goals.
- Ensure
regulatory compliance with international and domestic aviation
standards in all agreements.
🎓 Requirements
- Bachelor’s
degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum
6 years of experience in Marketing, International Relations, or
Government/Commercial Affairs in the aviation industry
- Proficiency
in English
- Proficient
in MS Office applications
