Job Summary
Due to continued growth, this role is responsible for managing multiple functions of building operations and facility maintenance across Kuwait. The Facilities Manager will ensure high-quality FM services through strong leadership of on-site teams and effective management of subcontractors.
The role covers automotive, retail, and food & beverage environments and includes full responsibility for health and safety, statutory compliance, environmental standards, budgets, and customer service. The position reports to the Senior Manager – Facilities Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high standards of total facilities management services
- Provide daily leadership to on-site FM teams
- Act as the main escalation point for facilities issues
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Manage planned and reactive maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and statutory regulations
- Manage supplier performance and KPIs
- Control operational budgets and costs
- Oversee staffing, performance reviews, and team development
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Engineering preferred)
- IWFM membership or similar certification
- MBA preferred
- Minimum 10 years of facilities management experience
- At least 5 years in a management role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Good commercial and budgeting knowledge
- Sound understanding of EHS and compliance standards
