Job Description

1. Job Summary:

Purchasing Assistant source and buy materials, goods, and services on behalf of the employer to be resold or used in daily operations. Purchasing Officers maintain stock levels, and may also conduct research, negotiate with vendors, and interview prospective suppliers.

2. Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Managing purchase orders, overseeing shipping schedules and maintaining purchase records
·Analyze all vendor invoices and evaluate it with all quantity received and manage inventory of all items.
Maintain records of all purchase order and associate documents for all processes and maintain knowledge on all open order and its status.
Verify adherence of documentation to customs, insurance, or regulatory requirements.
Working with warehouse staff to compare deliveries with purchase orders to identify discrepancies.
Establishing professional relationships with clients as well as vendors and suppliers.
Estimate shipping cost.
Controls Authorization and prepare LC’s.
