Project client: Kuwait National Petroleum Company
Duration : 6 to 9 months shutdown

NDT Inspector : 350 KD + FFA

Job Requirement :
i) Secondary School Education. Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.

ii) ASNT (or equivalent) Level-II Certification in UT, RT, PT, and MT methods. Shall be proficient in ultrasonic shear wave examination.

iii) Experience in MFL Testing of tank floor plates of Storage Tanks and Heat Exchanger Tube inspection by Eddy Current/MFL Testing is desirable.

iv) Proficiency in preparation / reading isometric drawings is essential.

v) Preferable to have three (3) years’ experience out of which two (2) years in Refinery or Petrochemical Industry in independently carrying out NDT jobs. Prior work experience in KNPC is preferred.

Job Requirement :
Secondary School Education. Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.

ii) ASNT Level-II Certification in Ultrasonic Examination using straight beam probes. Proficiency in thickness gauging using ultrasonic digital thickness meter. ASNT Level-II Certification in MT and PT methods.

iii) Three (3) years’ experience out of which two (2) years in Refinery/ Petrochemical industry prior work experience in KNPC is preferred.

Candidates will travel on work visa so PCC & Medical is mandatory for this job.

Job Description

Key Assignments:

Use home furnishing competence to create home furnishing solutions in room settings, homes, vignettes, and sales support areas that reflect the IKEA identity.
Actively contribute to the gathering of insights from home visit interviews and translating this knowledge into locally relevant, functional, aesthetic, and commercial home furnishing solutions that exceed customer expectations and reflect home furnishing the IKEA way.
Contribute to the creation of a Showroom matrix that reflects a wide variety of styles, living situations, and price levels to create a good tempo with distinct visual impressions.
Secure high quality, simplicity, efficiency, and cost consciousness when planning and implementing all range presentation solutions using global tools and best practices.
Stay up-to-date and knowledgeable about home furnishing, retailing, and trends in order to contribute to workshops to generate creative ideas.
Contribute to the content of the department action plan with initiatives that will grow the business and support long-term profitability and execute the agreed plans together with the Com&In team and other functions.
Respect routines and responsibilities, work together with Com&In team and other functions, act quickly to exploit commercial opportunities, and understand the impact of your actions on the financial results.
Keep visitors in mind when working on the shop floor, ensure disruption is minimized, and stay aware of the importance of safety and the visual impact for visitors at all times.
Any security breaches must be notified concerned authority and manager.
Be aware of all security-related emergency responses and follow the policy and procedures.

Qualifications

Retail and home furnishing experience.
Experience working with interior design in a retail environment.
Visual competence with a keen eye for aesthetics.
Ability to generate new ideas and concepts.
A passion for home furnishing, retailing, design, and how people live at home. Able to draw, visualize, and present ideas.
Enthusiastic about assignments and working with others in a team.
Practical hands-on approach to work.
Good communication skills in English.
Computer proficiency with knowledge and experience in using relevant software (e.g. AutoCad).
Ability to combine commercial, aesthetic, and practical skills.
Ability to generate, visualize, and present new ideas.
Ability to work together with others in a team. Confident in approaching and communicating clearly with different people in various situations.
Have a flexible and hands-on approach to responsibilities as well as the ability to meet set deadlines.
Home furnishing the IKEA way (living situations, style groups, store communication, furnishing with light).
Range presentation the IKEA way (layout as a commercial tool, store media, display techniques).
