Role Overview

As a Market Research & Pricing Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting pricing strategies, route profitability, and market intelligence. You will gather, analyze, and interpret market data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to your supervisor. This role requires a combination of analytical, research, and reporting skills to help shape Kuwait Airways’ competitive pricing and sales strategies.


Key Responsibilities

Market Research & Data Analysis

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret market data related to routes, fares, and competition.
  • Prepare market surveys and analyze results to support strategic decision-making.
  • Compile data into reports, charts, graphs, and tables for presentation and review.
  • Calculate averages, ratios, and distributions as required to identify trends or irregularities.

Survey Management

  • Prepare survey questionnaires in coordination with relevant sections of the Marketing Department.
  • Ensure questionnaires cover all relevant topics such as pricing, promotions, competition, and incentive schemes.
  • Schedule and coordinate survey interviews with travel agents, government officials, KAC outstation managers, and other market contacts.

Pricing Support

  • Assist supervisor in evaluating and formulating pricing policies, including discount rates and special group fares.
  • Collaborate with the Sales & Routes Performance Section to continuously monitor market trends and performance.
  • Maintain data accuracy and documentation for informed decision-making.

Reporting & Software Utilization

  • Use software tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Lotus, Symphony, and WordPerfect for data management and report generation.
  • Present findings and recommendations in a clear, concise, and actionable format.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years in airline market research, pricing, or related analytical roles.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Language: Fluent in English (both written and spoken).

About the Project

SSH is expanding its team for a large-scale Housing and Building Project in Kuwait. We are seeking highly skilled engineers and inspectors to ensure world-class project execution. Candidates must have relevant experience in housing, building, and infrastructure projects and should be currently residing in Kuwait.


Open Positions & Job Descriptions

Engineering Roles (12+ Years of Experience)

1. Building Engineer

  • Oversee the planning, design, and execution of building structures.
  • Ensure compliance with architectural and engineering standards.
  • Coordinate with contractors, sub-contractors, and consultants to maintain quality and timelines.

2. Infrastructure Engineer

  • Plan, design, and supervise civil infrastructure projects, including roads, utilities, and drainage systems.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, monitor construction progress, and maintain regulatory compliance.

3. HVAC Engineer

  • Design, install, and supervise heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
  • Ensure systems comply with local standards and performance requirements.

4. Material / Quality Control Engineer

  • Inspect construction materials, monitor quality control procedures, and ensure adherence to project specifications.
  • Conduct testing and generate detailed quality reports.

5. HSE Engineer

  • Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies.
  • Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations.

Note: Arabic-speaking candidates preferred; KSE membership is mandatory for all engineering roles.


Inspector Roles (10+ Years of Experience)

1. Building Inspector

  • Inspect structural and architectural works for compliance with design specifications.
  • Identify and report deviations, delays, or defects to the engineering team.

2. Infrastructure Inspector

  • Monitor infrastructure works, including utilities, roads, and drainage systems.
  • Ensure quality standards are met and document progress accurately.

3. HVAC Inspector

  • Inspect and verify HVAC installations, commissioning, and performance against approved designs.

4. Sanitary Inspector

  • Monitor plumbing and sanitation systems to ensure compliance with design and safety standards.

Requirements for All Roles

  • KSE Membership: Mandatory for all engineering positions.
  • Project Experience: Experience in housing and building projects is highly preferred.
  • PAHW Approval: Candidates with prior PAHW approval are given priority.
  • Clearance: If currently working on a PAHW project, a clearance letter is required unless the project is completed.
  • Residency: Must be currently residing in Kuwait.
  • Visa Status: Preference for candidates not on a government project visa.
