Job Description
Job Purpose
This section summarizes the primary purpose of your job, the major overall responsibilities.
Responsible for ensuring proper computer operations so that end users can efficiently deliver their work through prioritizing, documenting and actively responding & resolving end user technical support requests with the use of diagnostics and request tracking tools.

Policies & Processes
- Implement IT Department policies and follow the set processes in order to achieve the Department’s objectives.
Technical Support Activities
- Continuously track and monitor status of information technology systems across DHAMAN’s corporate office and business units.
- Respond to incoming calls and emails requesting technical support assistance, and take necessary steps to resolve issues in a timely manner through utilizing diagnostic software to identify and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Coordinate with the Support Supervisor on issues assigned to him/her, respond to the incident/problem and apply appropriate resolutions to close the incident/problem in a timely manner.
- Perform regular maintenance of all system software and hardware as per maintenance schedule, etc. to ensure business continuity and minimize the system interruptions.
- Perform fixes at the desktop level, including installation and upgrade of current office applications, operating system, anti-virus software, conducting file backups, and configuring systems and applications.
- Set up and configure desktop computers, peripherals and user accounts, assigning security levels, network access, etc.
- Systematically document all requests for technical support assistance including end user identification information, nature of problem, and steps taken to resolve issues.
- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices while taking into account best practice, improvement of business processes, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.
- Perform other duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct Manager.
Reports
- Prepare and submit progress reports that cover Technical Support activities for the Direct Manager, as requested.
Skills
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Certifications
- Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Compute Science or related field.
Work Experience
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in the same or related field.
Language Skills
- Proficient in English and Arabic.
Communications and Working Relations
Key Internal Contacts
- All Business units and departments within DHAMAN as required.
Key External Contacts
- Computer Hardware/Software Vendors.
- Service Providers.
