Job Purpose:
Responsible for ensuring smooth computer operations across DHAMAN corporate
offices and business units. The role focuses on prioritizing, documenting, and
resolving end-user technical support requests efficiently, using diagnostics
and request tracking tools.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Policies & Processes:
- Implement
IT department policies and follow processes to achieve objectives.
Technical Support Activities:
- Track
and monitor IT systems across corporate office and business units.
- Respond
to technical support requests via calls and emails; diagnose and resolve
issues promptly.
- Coordinate
with the Support Supervisor on assigned incidents and apply appropriate
solutions.
- Perform
regular maintenance on hardware and software to ensure business
continuity.
- Install,
upgrade, and configure office applications, operating systems, anti-virus
software, and user accounts.
- Configure
desktop computers, peripherals, and network access/security levels.
- Document
all technical support requests, including user details, problem nature,
and resolution steps.
- Identify
opportunities to improve systems, processes, and practices to enhance
efficiency and reduce costs.
- Perform
other duties assigned by the Direct Manager.
Reporting:
- Prepare
and submit progress reports on technical support activities as requested
by the Direct Manager.
Requirements:
- Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related
field.
- Experience:
1–3 years in IT support or a related field.
- Languages:
Proficient in English and Arabic.
- Skills:
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, documentation, and communication
skills.
